Sweetspots: Millman and Murphy can be winners at Windsor
Rod Millman and Oisin Murphy have individual strike-rates of 14 per cent at Windsor. When they combine that rises to 43 per cent and they do so with Greeley in the 2.50 and Hawridge Glory in the 5.25.
David Evans is operating at an overall 9 per cent strike-rate. That improves to 25 per cent – three wins from 12 – when applying first-time cheekpieces. He has two such runners at Windsor, Daily Trader in the 3.50 and Teardrop Island in the 4.50.

Tim Vaughan is the top trainer at Kelso with five wins from 12 runners – a 42 per cent strike-rate. He sends Looksnowtlikebrian to the course in search of a hat-trick in the 3.40. Richard Johnson rides the gelding, and he is the top course jockey with five wins from 14 rides, a 36 per cent strike-rate, and it’s his only ride of the day.
