Sweetspots: Gallows Point looks well worth hanging around for
Ralph Beckett’s runners are worth noting at Thirsk. The in-form trainer boasts a 50 per cent strike-rate at the venue and can enhance his impressive record with Mighty Mac (7.15) and Culdrose (8.15).
Expect a good effort from Gallows Point on debut in the 8.30 at Warwick. The five-year-old represents Kim Bailey, who operates at a 23 per cent strike-rate with bumper debutants and is three from six with such runners at the venue.
