Sweetspots: Dawson City set to pay for Gundry’s petrol at Kelso
Simon Waugh and Callum Bewley have individual strike-rates of 11 and 14 per cent at Kelso. When they team up that increases to 50 per cent and they do so with No Boundaries in the 1.35.
Polly Gundry has an overall strike-rate of seven per cent, which improves to 100 per cent (2-2) when sending a runner on a trek of 400 miles or more. The Devon-based trainer sends Dawson City to Kelso to contest the 1.05.

Nicky Henderson has a 44 per cent strike-rate (7-16) with horses having their first runs after a breathing operation. That’s a sharp improvement on his overall strike-rate of 25 per cent and he’ll be hoping it works the trick for Josses Hill in the 2.25 at Huntington.
