Sweetspots: Cumani can rule the roost at Brighton with Kings City
Luca Cumani strikes at 27 per cent with those making their handicap debut (+23.24). Kings City looks interesting in the 3.10 at Brighton where his trainer is 7-18 (39 per cent) over the past five seasons.
Jamie Spencer is 3-5 at Brighton over the last five seasons and his rare visits to the Sussex venue are worth looking out for. He has two rides at today’s meeting and his best chance may lie with Harbour Rock in the 3.40.

Richard Hannon is 9-17 in sellers (53 per cent) and strikes at 60 per cent with those having their first run in such a race. Lexington Grace was outclassed in Newbury’s Super Sprint last time but looks worth a bet dropped into plating company in the 6.05 at Newmarket.
Charlie Appleby is 13-48 (27 per cent) with juvenile debutants on Newmarket’s July course. He fields three likely types in the maiden at 6.35 but the pick may be Rastrelli as Adam Kirby boasts a 55 per cent strike-rate at the track for the trainer.
