Sweetspots: Appleby looks to land a Touch by fitting blinkers

Red Touch has looked in need of a bit of help recently and gets blinkers for the first time in the 7.15 at Chelmsford. Trainer Mick Appleby is 4-13 when enlisting the aid.

Tha’ir was well behind Barnaby Brook over this course and distance last time, but has a 13lb swing in the weights. Mick Appleby is an astonishing 9-17 when running his horses in a seller for the first time.

Tom Lacey is in great form recently and is 6-22 at Chepstow and 2-5 with bumper debutants at the course. Meep Meep (5.35) has a decent pedigree and can strike on debut.
