Stowaway Magic will be sporting a first-time tongue-tie for Dan Skelton in the 2.30 at Carlisle. The trainer has a 31 per cent strike-rate when applying the equipment.

Saeed Bin Suroor and Hector Crouch have a 50 per cent strike-rate when they team up at Chelmsford, as they do with the twice-raced Snow Storm in the 5.45, hoping it will be third time lucky.
