Get Out The Gate has been running well in competitive handicap hurdles over much shorter trips but he's a point-to-point winner so he is well worth chancing stepped up to 3m in the EBF Stallions Gold Castle 'National Hunt' Novices' Hurdle at Perth (3.00).

Last time he was was far from disgraced in the Scottish Champion Hurdle behind the top-class Verdana Blue and if, as expected, 3m is his trip, then he can make the drop in class count.
