The Grade 2 Ballymore Winter Novices' Hurdle at Sandown (2.25) is going to be a big stamina test in the ground and that will suit Up The Straight perfectly.

He stayed on really strongly when winning at Lingfield on his debut for Richard Rowe on testing ground and the way he travelled and jumped strongly suggested he could cope with this step up in class.
