He is dropping below three miles for the first time in nearly two years but he still has plenty of gears and this looks the perfect preparation for another Gold Cup tilt.
Conclusion Top-class 11-year-old who was not at his best in the King George but even a repeat of that will be good enough to win today. Banker.
