Specific Gravity brought down to earth by 11-2 Indian Tomahawk
Rita's Man (6-1) won the finale at Redcar and that victory took Richard Hannon's record when sending runners on the 285-mile journey to the North Yorkshire to five winners from 14 runners.
Sean Levey's mount touched a high of 12 in running on Betfair before denying Fairy Lock, who had traded at 1.58, and his rides for Hannon at the track now have form figures of 1112141.
Specific Gravity proved remarkably weak in the betting for the opener at Clonmel and the market told the story as the 4-6 favourite, who had drifted from as short as 4-11 in the morning, was turned over by 11-2 winner Indian Tomahawk.
