On the surface, this three-runner nursery may not look all that interesting. However, there is a big spread in terms of the ratings of the runners and that creates room to take a view where the handicapper, who is naturally working off limited evidence, might have missed something.

Sometimes you just think a horse will be too good for the opposition and that is how I see it with Killybegs Warrior. He is giving 9lb to Tarlo and 21lb to Kodi Dancer but has shown much more than either of them- and in fewer starts.

On his first run, he turned over a warm order over this C&D. Then he finished third under a penalty at Haydock, when he got racing with another odds-on favourite far enough out and let in a 28-1 outsider. There were seven lengths back to the rest.
