I was on analysis duty the night Promise To Be True made a winning debut at Tipperary and I suggested she could be the best juvenile we have seen so far this season.

To do what she did in that 7f maiden, swooping from last to first in the space of a furlong having looked like she might finish last of the quintet turning in was pretty special. Aidan O'Brien only added more substance to the display and revealed she didn't originally hold any big race entries as she had not been named in time.

She might not have been named early but what she was finally christened seems very apt as there was nothing false about that Tipperary victory and I expect her to finish today top of the 2016 Qipco 1,000 Guineas market by winning the Group 3 Silver Flash Stakes (7.00) at Leopardstown with plenty up her sleeve.
