Small fields shouldn't put anyone off the Carlisle Placepot

There are only 31 runners at Carlisle but that isn't always a bad thing when it comes to Placepot betting because if some of the short-priced favourites blow out, the dividend can be inflated.

First Flow will have to fall in the 2.30 not to win but I wouldn't be so confident about La Chanteuse beating The Ferry Master in the 2.00, so it's best to include both.

Le Rocher looks certain to run well in the 3.35 and is worth banking on, while the same is the case in the last where Sir Jack Yeats is much preferred to Just A Par.
