Slog in a bog could bring out best in lightly raced handicapper

No. 7
Mixchievous
4.05 Sandown
1pt win at 8-1 generallyMixchievous showed enough in his early soft-ground bumpers to suggest he ought to be better than a 107-rated performer and he is very much bred to be suited by this step up in trip.

His form over hurdles is nothing special so far - he has been dropped 8lb in two handicap runs - but in the context of this race it's not bad and he doesn't need to find much to be a big player.

This could turn into a real slog on bottomless ground and he has a nice weight to take advantage if the trip does see him in a better light.
