It takes a leap of faith to back this seven-year-old following his 59-length last at Huntingdon last time, but he ran better than the bare facts that day, having helped force a strong gallop and gone on from a long way out. He faded badly only late and was allowed to coast home after the last.

Dan Skelton's runner had previously shown promise in two outings over fences and was beaten only four lengths by the highly regarded but ill-fated Laissez Dire when second on his chase debut at Catterick in November. That is decent form for this level, despite it coming over fences.
