Other than recent form Starboard has plenty going for him and he has dropped so far in the weights that he might be worth chancing with Jamie Spencer taking over from a claimer for the first time since the spring.

Admittedly he hasn't gone particularly well for Spencer in 2016 either, but he has three Racing Post Ratings of 80-plus to his name on the all-weather this year, including one of 91 and his mark is now down to just 76.
