Signposts: strike-rate with tongue-tie suggests a happy Outcome

Credit: Edward Whitaker

The strike-rate of Rebecca Curtis runners rises from 17 per cent to 33 per cent (4-12) with the fitting of a tongue-tie for the first time. Definite Outcome can make amends for unseating his rider two out at Aintree last time out by taking the 12.50 Chepstow.

Sandy Thomson and Brian Hughes hold individual strike-rates of 44 per cent and 11 per cent at Wetherby but they’re unbeaten when joining forces. The Dutchman is 2-2 at the course and can go in again in the 2.35.
