Sedgefield Placepot: Richard Birch with the runners to include in your perm

Malpas, who recently underwent wind surgery, returns to the track on ground which he is bred to enjoy, and can get Sedgefield Placepot players off to the perfect start in leg one (1.00).

Relkadam, a horse with a high cruising speed, needs to prove his effectiveness on a quick surface, but there’s a significant chance he could progress for it and notch a third win of a productive season in leg two (1.30).

Burrows Diamond simply annihilated her field at Newcastle last time and looks capable of defying an 11lb rise in leg three (2.05), in which her principal opponent appears to be Foster’sisland.

Micky Hammond does well at Sedgefield and his low-weighted High Noon has better prospects than the market is likely to suggest in leg four (2.40).

The well-handicapped Demi Sang also appreciates good ground and could bounce back to form.

Snowy Burrows has been raised only 5lb for a recent course success, and that looks even more generous in the light of runner-up Just A Sip’s subsequent 14-length Plumpton romp. She rates banker material in the penultimate leg (3.10).

Just A Sip returns to Sedgefield with bright claims of landing leg six (3.45), in which Excalibur is also of interest at bigger odds.
