Ex-French recruit having first run for Richard Newland. Ran six times in France – five over hurdles, one chase run – without success but went very close twice. Form hard to assess if you're not a French racing expert, but the French handicapper has awarded a mark of 130, which if accurate would give him at least a stone in hand. None of the lightly raced ones look that scary.
