Saturday's free racing tips: our experts give their best bets of the day

Handicappers' nap

Aristo Du Plessis (3.20 Wetherby)

Multiple course-and-distance winner, most recently off a 9lb higher mark last December, and shaped well here recently on what was his first run since a wind operation.
Steve Mason

Eyecatcher

Treasure Dillon (3.30 Cheltenham)

Up 7lb from his win at the end of last season, he went without headgear on his return and looked to be an improving young jumper. His future lies over fences but he could have another big race in him over hurdles.
Raceform

Our analysts from Raceform find eyecatchers at all meetings in the UK and Ireland, every day. Essential subscribers can read their expert view on every race

Irish Angle

Big Tree (3.10 Punchestown)

Has yet to win over hurdles but encouraging signs at Cork last time when tackling 3m for the first time and finishing third. Appeals over the same trip.
Tony O'Hehir

Ace Tipster

Big River (1.50 Cheltenham)

Goes well fresh and likes testing ground so should make a bold bid on his seasonal return following wind surgery.
Graeme Rodway

Speed Figures

Scentasia (2.10 Lingfield)

Landed a similar race over a mile here in fine style last month and this improving filly can prove equally effective over the extra two furlongs.
Dave Edwards

Spotlight nap

The Butcher Said (3.00 Cheltenham)

Has form figures of 211112 since joining Olly Murphy at the start of the year. Was upped to 3m on heavy ground here three weeks ago after a break, but couldn't quite get to grips with Ramses De Teillee. However, he finished well clear of the rest and could have more to offer.
Richard Austen

Dark horse

My Law (11.55 Lingfield)

Last couple of runs since returning from a break need excusing, but he has dropped in the weights and the addition of cheekpieces with Adam Kirby in the saddle could result in a return to form.
Simon Giles

Must-have stat of the day
