Saturday's free racing tips: five horses to consider putting in your multiples

Saturday's best bets ranked in order of confidence by our top tipsters

Eyecatcher

Dirtyoldtown (1.20 Ayr)

Back to form with a close second at Doncaster last week and should be suited by the return to a mile.
Richard Young

Our analysts from Raceform find eyecatchers at all meetings in the UK and Ireland, every day. Essential subscribers can read their expert view on every race

Handicappers' nap

Balgair (5.01 Newmarket)

Bolted up in this race two years ago off 2lb higher and a solid fourth last year off the same mark. Shaped better at Epsom last time and holds sound claims in an open race if building on that effort.
Paul Curtis

If you rate the ratings, you can have our handicappers' views on every race as part of our Members' Club Essential package

Newmarket nap

Aimeric (5.20 Ayr)

Ran well for a long way in the Melrose Handicap at York last time and has since worked well on the Limekilns.
David Milnes

Speed figures

Frontispiece (4.35 Newbury)

Has won three times at the track, including this race last year, and second here last month suggests he can collect again.
Dave Edwards

Ace tipster

Aimeric (5.20 Ayr)

Unplaced in the Melrose last time but that race is always hot and previous defeat of El Habeeb at Chester looks excellent form. Worth another chance and still unexposed with a good pedigree.
Robbie Wilders

Dark horse

Stay Alert (1.40 Newbury)

Not seen since a below-par run at Haydock in July but soft ground didn't appear to suit then. Best form has come at Newbury and could step forward in an open race.
Rob Sutton
