Intuitive (2.15 Chelmsford)

Two from two on synthetics and his latest win is working out really well. Worth chancing that he resumes his progress switched back from turf.

Newmarket nap

Vivionn (3.25 Chelmsford)

Sir Michael Stoute's progressive filly is expected to dominate this small field just as she did at Doncaster last time. She has impressed since on the Al Bahathri.
David Milnes

Eyecatcher

Blue Medici (5.40 Nottingham)

Did best of those coming from off the pace last time and looks to be coming back to the boil. On that showing it will be a surprise if she doesn't manage find an opening this summer.

Speed figures

Al Muffrih (3.15 Haydock)

Lightly raced and showed admirable resolution to score at over ten furlongs at Redcar. The step up in trip may bring about further improvement.
Dave Edwards

Spotlights nap

War Whisper (3.10 Beverley)

Won twice over stiff 5f on fast ground last summer and signalled his turn is near with 16-1 sixth of 19 behind better-fancied stablemate at York last week, doing second best of those drawn in single figures. This smaller field will suit and he has strong claims.

Irish angle

Julia's Magic (3.55 Naas)

The Denise Foster-trained four-year-old has been competing at a higher level in recent starts and has performed creditably on a couple of occasions. Well-treated by the race conditions, the daughter of Dandy Man can score under Oisin Orr.
Tony O'Hehir

Dark horse

Greenside (2.25 Sandown)

Wasn't beaten far in this race in 2017 and is 5lb lower this time around. He has form figures of 2164 at this track and trainer Henry Candy has his string in good heart.
David Revers

Must-have stat of the day

Kylie Rules is 4-6 when running at Beverley (+£9.88 to £1 level stakes), improving to 4-4 (+£11.88) when running over 1m½f. James Sullivan is 2-2 on her and he takes the mount in the fillies' handicap over that trip at 3.45.
