He was an 88-rated performer on the Flat and we'll see where we are with him after this.

He has done well since switched to fences and jumped nicely when winning at Taunton last time. This represents another step up the ladder, but he's going the right way and should run well.

He's a kind horse who always tries his hardest for you, and boasts some good form from last year's Fred Winter. He should enjoy the ground too.

He was balloted out of the Close Brothers Novices' Handicap Chase on Tuesday by one, and we're full of hope this can provide some compensation.

He looks just the type to do well round Kempton on good ground, and holds a solid chance.

Hopefully blinkers will sharpen him up and enable him to travel better than he did last time.
