Having spent the last fortnight getting burnt in Crete and Santorini, the last 24 hours have consisted of sitting in a cold, dark room catching up on replays and, from what I saw from Found in the Yorkshire Oaks, she will take some stopping in the Qipco Irish Champion Stakes on September 10.

She was unable to give her younger stablemate Seventh Heaven 10lb, but the way she travelled through the race was very easy on the eye. Indeed, she probably spoiled her chance by racing with such enthusiasm.

She went down by a length to Golden Horn in what was a vintage renewal of the Irish Champion Stakes last year and only came to herself in the autumn. It looks like something similar is going to happen this season and with doubts about so many of the leading contenders lining up, Found simply has to be backed now at a far too generous 6-1.
