Roc looks solid choice as we welcome back Hereford
THE day many jumps fans must have thought would never arrive is finally with us as Hereford opens its doors to racing under rules for the first time in four years this afternoon – and they are putting on a fair show too, with the track trumping Exeter in terms of attracting the best equine and human talent.
The bet365 Beginners' Chase (3.05) is certainly fascinating with the 146-rated hurdler Emerging Force up against a few lower-rated but very promising rivals from big yards.
While Nicky Henderson's Laurium is the highest-rated of the rest, lightly raced trio Definite Outcome, Rainy City and Robin Of Locksley are arguably more interesting.
