Richard Birch reckons Frankel colt is a banker in opening leg at Musselburgh

Credit: Alan Crowhurst

Chase The Dollar, a son of the mighty Frankel, won't need to have inherited too much of his famous father's ability to make a winning Musselburgh debut in leg one (12.45).

Bibbidibobbidiboo is well treated on her best form and shaped nicely first time out at Ripon this season. From a favourable low draw, she takes the eye in the second leg (1.15). Ghathanfar should also be included.

I loved Annangel's winning display at Beverley. She had clearly come on considerably for her debut and showed a good blend of speed and professionalism. Nigel Tinkler has found an excellent opportunity for her to follow up in leg three (1.45).

The penalties are mounting up, but Bal Mal is in such irresistible form that a hat-trick rates a distinct probability in the fourth leg (2.15).

Paul Midgley's pair, Desert Ace and The Defiant, catch my eye in leg five (2.45), while Vampish (3.15) seems sure to either win or go very close.

Lady Scatterley, a front-runner who ought to be suited to Musselburgh, should also be included in the final leg in case she enjoys an uncontested lead.
