On the basis of his most recent efforts the answer would be a resounding no, but there has to be a chance a return to Catterick will spark a revival.

The nine-year-old has run three of his best four races at this track, where he has run only three times, and they include a win in February 2014 and a six-length second in this contest last year from a mark 12lb higher than today's.
