The eight-year-old from the Giles Smyly yard looked a really interesting prospect when winning two of his first three outings over hurdles two seasons ago, both at Leicester.

On the first occasion he slammed the useful Ballycross by 13 lengths before staying on gamely to beat Knockgraffon by three lengths a month later.
