Gordon Elliott has long been a supporter of the meeting (he boasts a 27 per cent strike-rate at Perth in April) and it will be interesting to see how his Graineyhill goes in the market for the featured Heineken UK River Tay Handicap Chase (3.30).

The eight-year-old is rated 126 over hurdles in Ireland, but after three chase starts, the second a winning one at Fairyhouse, he has been awarded a mark of just 118 over fences.
