Dark Vision lost considerable ground at the start of the Britannia Stakes at Royal Ascot by initially veering right and then left. He ran really well to finish third of the far side group and eighth overall. Dropped 10lb since winning the Group 2 Vintage Stakes at Goodwood last July, he should relish this trip. He looks the value of Mark Johnston's trio and the trainer has won five of the past six runnings and seven in total.
