The very mention of his name will no doubt be greeted by groans from readers, but Fairymount Boy is worth supporting in the Littleton Handicap Chase (1.20) at Thurles. That is, of course, if you can cope with his antics up the home straight.

Fairymount Boy is notoriously tricky. He hates being in front and flashes his tail when he gets there. He has been beaten having touched in-running lows of 1.56, 1.23, 1.7, 1.04 and 1.89, but those who play during the race will be well aware of his quirks.
