Captain Cattistock was in the process of running really well over hurdles off a higher mark at Haydock when falling at the last in November. If you consider that he was up against Paisley Park and Shades Of Midnight that day, he must have a great chance in the GG Racing Podcast Chase at Exeter (4.50), having jumped so well on his chase debut last month.

He bumped into Now McGinty at Chepstow on that occasion so the form is strong and the ground is exactly as he would like it. Basically he is likely to be a class above the opposition he faces here.
