This once-classy performer might not be the force of old at the age of nine but he was rated 113 by the BHA at his peak and races off just 98 here. I'm convinced he hasn't declined that much and it's surely only a matter of time before he cashes in on his falling mark.

So Beloved proved he retains plenty of ability when an eyecatching third over this 7f trip at Sandown last time. He finished better than anything to sneak a place in the last stride and this stiff, straight track should suit him better.
