Progressive Tribute Act looks ready to hit the right note at Goodwood
Newmarket: David Milnes
Khairaat (1.50 Goodwood, nap)
Bombed out when well fancied at Royal Ascot, but was keen from a low draw and that run should be ignored. Sir Michael Stoute's classy type has impressed on the Limekilns recently.
Others to follow
Goodwood 2.25 Expert Eye, 3.00 Dream Castle, 3.35 Big Orange, 4.10 Tribal Quest, 4.45 Atletico, 5.15 Ghadaayer.
Beverley 2.00 Codicil, 4.20 El Cap.
Yarmouth 1.40 Midnight Wilde, 2.15 Annouska, 2.50 Retribution, 3.25 Buckland Beau, 4.00 Anna Medici, 4.30 The Happy Hammer, 5.00 Gulliver, 5.35 Annie Salts.
Lambourn: James Burn
Barrington (5.00 Yarmouth, nap)
In at the deep end for his first two starts this year, but ran better when dropped in grade last time and the drop back up to 6f should suit.
Others to follow
Goodwood 1.50 What About Carlo, 3.00 Jallota, 3.35 Sweet Selection, 4.45 A Momentofmadness.
Worcester 5.05 Cole Harden, 8.20 Amanto.
North: Colin Russell
Indian Chief (6.00 Beverley, nap)
Has been running well without winning recently but, with testing ground in his favour, is fancied to get off the mark for the year.
Others to follow
Beverley 2.00 International Man, 2.35 Moon Over Rio, 3.10 Arcavallo, 3.45 Tarboosh, 4.20 Bahama Moon, 4.55 Geordie George, 5.30 John Caesar.
Goodwood 1.50 Garcia, 2.25 Mildenberger, 3.00 Suedois, 3.35 High Jinx, 4.10 Lake Volta, 4.45 Confessional, 5.15 Lincoln Rocks.
Perth 5.50 Man Look, 6.55 An Fear Cluin, 7.30 Bon Chic, 8.00 Firstymint, 8.30 Roman Numeral, 9.00 River Icon.
Yarmouth 5.00 Highland Acclaim, 5.35 Noah Amor.
West Country: Tim Mitchell
Ink Master (5.40 Worcester, nap)
Stuck to his task well when making all over course and distance in June. He has a 5lb higher mark to contend with, but is fancied to follow up having been given plenty of time to recover.
Others to follow
Worcester 5.05 Exxaro, 6.40 Scoop The Pot, 7.50 Fool To Cry.
Racing Post Ratings: Simon Turner
Tribute Act (5.15 Goodwood, nap)
Progressive, well handicapped filly who has looked a long way ahead of her mark when winning her last two. This demands more, but little doubt she will prove better than a mark of 87.
Topspeed: Dave Edwards
Garcia (1.50 Goodwood)
Creditable fifth in a hot handicap at York on his seasonal return recently and, with improvement anticipated, Richard Fahey's four-year-old should again be in the mix.
Longshot: Ed Quigley
Dutch Connection (3.00 Goodwood)
Not at his best recently, but last year's winner comes alive at this venue, with course and distance form figures of 121. He looks capable of bouncing back.
Ireland: Tony O'Hehir
Serefeli (8.10 Galway)
Peter Fahey's three-time winner appeals in this 50-70 handicap following a good effort last time when runner-up to Eagle Spirit over 1m2f at Naas. The slightly shorter trip should suit and the five-year-old son of Footstepsinthesand, who gets the vote to score under Billy Lee.
