Nicky Henderson's principal rider missed the best part of three months after breaking his arm at Cheltenham's Open meeting in November – a break that required nine screws and a metal plate – but scored on only his second ride back at Musselburgh on Saturday and completed a double just a few races later.

De Boinville will now be looking forward to reacquainting himself with some of his potential Cheltenham Festival rides, most notably Might Bite today and Altior in the Game Spirit on Saturday.
