Photo punters get their fingers burnt by Ventura Dragon

More than £85,000 was matched on the 10-1 chance at the minimum 1.01 in the photo betting on Betfair, but backers were stunned when 5-4 favourite Ventura Dragon was announced the winner after being backed at the maximum price of 1,000.

>>There was further confusion later on the card when Peach Melba was matched for more than £1,000 at 1.01 to get the verdict in the photo for the 7f maiden, despite clearly appearing to have lost out to 10-11 shot Moonwise.
