Chelmsford Placepot picks: Paul Kealy's 24-line perm to crack the £100,000 code

With six winners from his last 16 runners, Phil McEntee has his yard in great nick and his will take some beating in the opener (5.30) at Chelmsford, where there is a £100,000 Tote guaranteed Placepot pool.

It is an apprentice race with only seven runners, though, and while Porfin's rider Molly Presland is one of only two in the field to have ridden a winner at the track, I'll add Darryll Holland's , who shaped as if coming back to form last time.

Only seven go in the next (6.00) as well, but there are probably only three to concentrate on and the pick for me is , who ran really well in a big field at Southwell last month.

The following classified stakes (6.30) is really tough, so I'll go with three, starting with , who has at least been running at or near his mark lately.

The other two are , who runs well here, and the veteran , who is pretty consistent at his level.

ought to be a player in the next (7.00) if in the same form as last time, while is not penalised for his win in a better race on Tuesday, so has to go in as well.

is the pick in the next (7.30), while in the last (8.00) is the obvious one, but could run well after a break as he's extremely well handicapped and runs at a track his trainer does well at.
