It may be boring from a betting point of view, but if Saint Sonnet fulfils half the potential he showed at Cheltenham in March the 4-1 about him landing the Paddy Power Gold Cup back there could look huge late on Saturday afternoon.

I went through the surprisingly small five-day field of 17 trying not to tip him, but he stands out like a beacon as the one who could be miles ahead of his mark and I finally came to the conclusion the 4-1 was very fair.
