Paul Kealy reckons red-hot favourite is worth taking on at Exeter

No. 2

2.10 Exeter
1pt win at 5-1 generallyEveryone loves an unbeaten horse, which is why Bear Ghylls is so short, but at Ffos Las last time he made a meal out of beating a horse (who traded at 1-5 in running) comfortably held next time out and he probably has to improve again after six weeks off.

And The New went off just at 8-1 for a vastly superior race to this at Cheltenham last time but ultimately didn't last out the 3m trip (traded at 6-4).

However, he certainly ran every bit as well as he had on his penultimate outing when second at Wincanton, and if he runs to that level again with Kevin Brogan on board to reduce his burden by 7lb then he surely has to go close.
