Paul Kealy provides his Tote Placepot perm for Newbury

Tomorrow Mystery is a warm favourite for the opening leg (12.20) of the Newbury Placepot, but I wouldn't want to bank early without knowing the ground as she wouldn't want it soft.

She's not especially well treated on her novice form anyway, so I'll go with , who is nicely handicapped on his best form and ran a fine race last time, and , who just keeps winning.

made a fine start to his hurdles career at Chepstow and it will take three good ones to kick him out of the frame in leg two (12.55), while in the beginners' chase is impossible to leave out, but we'd better add talented hurdles course winner for some cover.

In the next (2.00), won only a weak bumper here last season, but this doesn't look any stronger and she's likely to be a warm order.

We need more cover for the last two races, and in leg five (2.30) my main fancy Dell' Arca is joined by the consistent and , who retains plenty of promise as a hurdler.

I'll go with three in the last (3.05) too, The Bay Birch being joined by last year's winner Azzerti, who is 4lb lower now, and Court Master, who shapes as though he is improving.
