She had earlier proved how well she handles bad ground by beating John Kirkup (a horse with an exceptional record on soft or worse) over 5f on this track, and the chances are she is just an improving filly.
The ground will be close to heavy come race time if the rain continues as forecast, and that is clearly going to suit Michael Appleby's filly, who might not be badly drawn in ten if they edge towards the stands' side.
