He did stay on strongly in the straight for third behind a well-treated winner, and he has become exceptionally well handicapped himself.

The vast majority of his best form has come on a decent surface as well, so conditions will suit, and it will be disappointing if he can't get among the money from a mark that seriously underplays his ability.
