Bronco Billcan reward his owner-trainer Noel Meade's persistence by winning the 2m6f Hovis Handicap Hurdle at Down Royal (7.10).

A son of Kalanasi, bred by William Flood at Boardsmills Stud where the well-known sire first took up residence almost a decade ago, Bronco Bill showed very little in eight outings between May 2014 and August 2015.
