Nuns continues losing habit at Catterick

Nuns Walk was matched at 1.08 in the fillies' maiden at Catterick, but La Sioux stormed home to nail her on the line after trading at 28.

VJ Day was backed at a low-looking 1.22 in the 7f novice stakes at Musselburgh, Kevin Ryan's colt being readily left behind close home by two of his rivals.

Tambour traded even lower – 1.06 – in the 1m4½f handicap at Musselburgh but was another who finished a well-held third.
