There may be no more Flat racing for a while, but the opening fixture of the turf season at Naas last week was really one to whet the appetite and there were plenty of eye-catchers.

Tacky ground was unfortunately the order of the day, but the juveniles in the opener had the best of the ground to race on, and no horse on the day caught the eye more than this Brian Nolan-trained filly.
