Nicholls charge can prove another Saturday cracker for in-form team
Should Unowhatimeanharry be beaten in the JLT Long Walk Hurdle at Ascot (2.25) it could be a long day for punters. The three other televised races are all big-field handicaps that will take a lot of sorting out.
Having said that the Paul Nicholls team are in great form and it could be worth sticking with the multiple champion trainer in the two handicaps chases, starting with Le Mercurey in the Lavazza Jolie Silver Cup (3.00).
The word from Ditcheat is that Irish Saint is the more fancied of his two runners and there is no doubt Nick Scholfield's mount caught the eye on his comeback run over hurdles after a long time off the track.
