Newcastle Placepot tips: Robbie Wilders with his selections for a £100,000 pool

Handicap debutant Jack Darcy caught the eye with an excellent fourth to New London in the Group 3 Gordon Stakes on just his third run and is selected for the opener at Newcastle (3.42).

Lady Marie's third over 7f here is the key piece of form in the 6f handicap (4.12). A drop in trip should do her no harm.

The well-bred Ithrais an interesting newcomer in the 6f novice (4.45) for Alice Haynes, who knows the time of day with juveniles.

George Boughey has plenty of good chances on this card and Callunashould hit the frame for the trainer after a good second at Wolverhampton.

Absolute Queen also makes the journey north for Boughey and looks worth chancing in the 6f nursery (5.15) off an enticing opening mark.

The Boughey-trainedMrs U S A is well up to defying a penalty in the 5f novice (5.45). Nothing went right for her over 6f at York last time and returning to the minimum trip should suit.

My two against the field in the finale (6.15) are Carlton And Co and Wrenthorpe.

Carlton And Co ran a nice race over this course and distance last time and remains unexposed, while the well-treated Wrenthorpe bounced back to form at Nottingham recently and should go close off 1lb lower.
