Newbury Placepot tips: Paul Kealy provides his perm for a quality card

The Newbury Placepot looks a reasonable one to attack given the two maidens that bookend the card should be easy enough to solve.

could not have been more eyecatching on her debut at Ascot last season and could easily be running in the Qipco 1,000 Guineas next, so she is banker material in the first (1.00). While in the final leg (3.55), and shaped well on their first starts and at least one should be able to make the frame.

The 1.35 is much tougher but Outboxcould get an easy lead again for Hollie Doyle and Without A Fightshould improve again this season. Of the top two in the market, Al Aasy badly needed his first run last year and Deja, who does go well fresh, will surely want some rain.

There's a big field for the Dubai Duty Free Stakes (2.10), but sets a good standard and is a more likely stayer at 7f than some of her form dangers, so I make her a banker. Chinditdidn't handle Newmarket in the Dewhurst last time and will be hard to beat in the Watership Down Stud Too Darn Hot Greenham Stakes (2.45).

That leaves the really tough mile handicap (3.20) and I'll go with three: , and , who is getting on but is still capable at this level off his current mark.
