James Pyman's ones to note

Sergei Prokofiev
Trainer: Aidan O’Brien
2nd, Dundalk, April 11
Those who lumped on at odds-on came away with burnt fingers but, despite losing out by a short head, this Scat Daddy colt looks aN exciting prospect. Sent off 4-9 on this debut, he seemed certain to score when moving upsides the winner on the bridle inside the final furlong. However, he wandered slightly at a crucial moment and the momentum lost allowed race-fit Skitter Scatter to gain the upper hand. Sergei Prokofiev should know his job next time and it would be no surprise to see him at Royal Ascot this season.
AdviceBack on next three starts

Xenobia
Bill Farrell
Won, Leopardstown, April 14
This four-year-old ran just four times at three, winning twice, and is a filly with a big frame who has seemingly done well over the winter. There should be more to come. She achieved this clearcut success, which was a marked step forward, despite racing keenly, and is now two wins from two starts in handicaps. She has a Group 3 entry and connections will be thinking about black type but, given she is blessed with plenty of speed, a valuable handicap over 7f or even 6f would be a suitable option for her.
AdviceFollow for remainder of season

Expected
Paddy Twomey
Won, Cork, April 15
Few horses seemed to act on what was extraordinarily testing ground at this meeting. Expected, however, handled conditions well to make an impressive debut and posted easily the best Topspeed figure on the card. It remains to be seen whether Expected will be as effective on quicker ground, but his capacity to act on a soft surface makes him a horse to follow on such going.
AdviceFollow for remainder of season on soft or slower
