This Dansant filly comes from a Waterford stable not associated with winning Flat maidens, but one or two from this yard have made it into this column in the past.

Most things went wrong here, including blowing the start. She was at the back of the field and from about halfway was struggling to make any impact, mostly due to greenness. But from early in the straight she began to pick up. Her final furlong was by far her best and most impressive as she passed about half the field and hit the line hard.
